David reflects on his mentors…
“I have been designing and creating jewelry for about 33 years. I found my niche when my brother in law introduced me to the craft of jewelry making in 1972. He was a very creative and fun loving person. He inspired me to see the possibilities of what I could do with metal and stone.

Early on, at home and at school, I had a strong interest in and a growing passion for art. There were teachers who encouraged my artistic abilities, and there was my father, who was quite the handyman, himself. I learned much by watching and helping him on projects around the house. I know that puttering around and making things in my father’s workshop provided an early outlet for some of my creativity.

These were my mentors whom I thankful to have had in my life, for they have helped to instill in me this passion for creating, and to have led me to where I am today.”
